I created this wall sculpture called Cityscape on the Edge 5: Rolling River for the exhibition Rivers Run Free. The exhibition was at the Dirty Dozen in February 2020, and several of ther River Studios artists participated.
The artwork is made from veneer, a large black piece of metal shaped like the letter V, a flat metal sheet, a small varnished board, a broken black tile, cylinders, a rusted bent rod and a rusted metal ‘sun’. Of course, I found all these bits and pieces on the streets of Melbourne. Several were near my studio along the Maribyrnong River.
