Located in West Melbourne
I have been an artist in residence at River Studios since July 2018. It is located at 49-51 Sims Street, West Melbourne, and is managed by Creative Spaces for the City of Melbourne.
There is easy parking near the studios; it is also close to public transport. The Footscray train station is about a six-block walk. Buses 216, 219 and 402 stop about a block away.
Design award winner
River Studios was constructed in an old factory using many recycled materials. The building won a local Australian Institute of Architects design award in 2011.
Come visit
I am always pleased to show visitors around the studios. I can also talk about the brooches, three-dimensional sculptures and wall sculptures I am working on.
